Our Rural Collection has been handpicked by our destination specialists, with each villa chosen for its atmosphere, facilities and location.

Wake up to the sound of birdsong and the singing of cicadas, lounge beside the pool enjoying the glorious view that stretches before your eyes, catch up on reading under your shaded pergola, and dine al fresco in complete privacy. Sounds heavenly, doesn't it?

Of course, rural does not necessarily mean isolated. Even our quietest villas are within a short drive (some 10-15 minutes) from a traditional Greek village, resort or beach meaning you can immerse yourself in the local community and sample delicious local fare as and when you desire.

No matter your chosen holiday, you will benefit from the services of an experienced local representative and GIC's 'little extras'.

Our local representatives
We pride ourselves on having some of the best overseas representatives, many of whom have lived and worked in Greece and Cyprus for many years. Do not worry, though, as there will be no attempt to organise you. Having met you on arrival and settled you into your villa, we see it as our task to provide, unobtrusively, a range of services on which you and your partner can rely on should the need arise.

Our 'little extras'
All holidays with GIC The Villa Collection include a welcome pack at your villa on arrival. The welcome pack includes such items as bread, butter, tea, coffee, water, wine etc. (varies according to area).

In addition, if you wish, we can place a Club Hamper in your villa before arrival. The package is sufficient for up to 4 people and typically includes: bread, butter, honey, eggs, nuts, fruit, biscuits, yoghurt, orange juice, a pack of tea, a tin of coffee, sugar, milk, cheese, ham, salad vegetables, salt and pepper, local olive oil, a bottle of wine, tonic water and soft drinks, washing-up liquid and matches. The cost is £70.00 per package and includes delivery.

GIC The Villa Collection also offer a shopping service for those wishing to request specific items prior to arrival, and has relationships with local mini-markets throughout our programme should you wish to place orders for delivery.

Before you leave from the UK you will also notice our subtle differences: 20kg of luggage per person, the option to pre-book your chosen flight seats together and contact with our knowledgeable villa specialists - there is little they do not know about our destinations and featured properties.
