Gaios | Sleeps 2-4
There are plenty of beautiful villas on Paxos, but few offer the kind of view you get at Villa Yakovos. It's best taken in from the pool terrace or first-floor balcony – a broad vista that runs down over forested hills to the blue Ionian Sea, and out to Antipaxos. If your idea of villa heaven is relaxing with a cool drink at dusk while the sky turns vivid hues of orange and pink, the pool terrace of Villa Yakovos is the place to be.
While Gaios is only a short drive away, Villa Yakovos is deep in Paxos's wild south, set in expansive grounds and surrounded by olive groves. The small village of Ozias is just a short stroll away, and has a handy shop-café-bar run by the villa's owner. Paxos's small scale makes exploring further afield easy – great local walks include the scenic path to Trypitos Arch, and the road from Ozias to the sandy, family-friendly beach at Moggonissi.
Back at the villa, a spacious, modern living area and a large pool terrace create the perfect atmosphere for a relaxed family or small group holiday.
