Hanging on a cliff edge and surrounded by olive groves, staying at Triton's Nest feels a million miles from anywhere. Here, silence reigns, interrupted only by the wind, the waves and of course the cicadas.
It’s hard to believe that a ten minute drive away (down a bumpy road) lies the island’s port of Gaios where you can moor a hired boat with which to explore the nearby beaches.
Across the sea from the villa and its terraced gardens one can see tiny Antipaxos and, on a clear day the view extends to Lefkas on the horizon.
The views due west mean that if you value spectacular sunsets, then this is the place to be.
