The steep walk up to Kapassa House is your first sign that you are heading somewhere special. The scent of lemon and olive is thick in the air as you walk along an ancient donkey path through groves of trees. It’s atmospheric, leafy and utterly secluded.

Kapassa House is situated in the tiny hamlet of Dendiatika and offers you a total escape from the modern world. The elegant home has contemporary, comfortable furnishings, but feels rooted in tradition, and the lack of WiFi on the property cements the feeling of a real retreat.

Relax on the stone terrace, surrounded by blooming flower pots, and pause to enjoy the scenery. Stretching out in front of you is a view of the little harbour village of Loggos, the Ionian Sea and the rolling hills of the Greek mainland. And the refreshing private pool, shaded walks and romantic location all mean that you may never want to leave.

When you do need to return to something like the real world, Loggos is 15 minutes away on foot, while Fikia beach is a 25-minute walk from the villa.
