Three bedroom villa • Private swimming pool
Stepping into Molyvos Manor is like stepping into history. The house was built in 1926 as the prospective wedding home of Maritsa Kalligeris and Ioannes Krallis but was never truly lived in due to the premature death of Ioannes.
During World War II the house was occupied by the Germans, the communist guerillas, the Greek army and earthquake victims. Finally, in the mid 1980s the house was divided between Ioannes’ two sons and renovated. The house we now see is the part owned by Stratis Krallis. The manor sleeps upto 10 guests in three bedrooms.
The house is located a two minute walk from the harbour of this UNESCO World Heritage village and is about a 10 minute walk to the beach. The medieval castle is a half hour uphill walk and all around, through the cobbled streets, you will find small supermarkets, bakeries and the main market. The look and feel of the village cannot be touched as a result of its World Heritage standing.
Views from the pool are panoramic and the interior with its traditional decor, high ceilings, large windows and wide veranda reflects the comfort of a bygone era.
