As the sun sets behind the Old Village, stroll up to the Sunset cafe-bar just 400m distance for spectacular views. Then fire up the barbecue and enjoy alfresco dining on your terrace. Alternative wining and dining options can be found at the atmospheric cafe-bars and tavernas in Alonissos' Old Town, just a 3 minute drive away or a 20 minute walk.
Patitiri, the main port, is only a 5 minute drive away (or a 20 minute walk down via the old donkey path) and offers a good choice of supermarkets, bakeries, local shops, traditional tavernas and a beach. The beaches of Rossoum, Votsi and Megalo Mourtia can be reached in 6-7 minutes by car. Walkers should head east where there are several walking trails through the forested hills.
