Kalamakia | Sleeps 2-4 (plus
Katia’s House stands on a hillside overlooking the tiny port of Kalamakia
, half way along the East coast of the island. The port is effectively “home” for four local families. The wives and daughters look after the four waterfront tavernas and the husbands and sons cast their nets daily from their caïques to ensure a rich selection of fresh fish.
Katia’s views are dramatic: down to Kalamakia port and across the sea to the islands of Peristera and Kyra Panagia. A steep, private and stepped pathway, shaded by tall pine trees, leads down from the house to the port in two minutes.
The pool terraces overlook the sea and are bordered by colourful plants.
NB: This property is not suitable for clients with mobility problems, due to the amount of steps on the property.Accommodation
