Villa Yakovos
Near Gaios | Sleeps 2-4From the backstreets of Gaios, a narrow winding road leads up the hill to the sleepy hamlet of Ozias, walkable from the villa. There is a general store come café bar, run by Yakovos, the villa’s owner. From Ozias an unmade road leads to the secluded location of the villa.
Set amongst olive groves, with no other house in sight, Villa Yakovos looks across private terraced grounds and over the stretch of sea between Paxos and AntiPaxos.
The views of AntiPaxos at sunset are spectacular. On clear days the island of Lefkas is visible on the horizon. There is no passing traffic and the silence of this location is only occasionally disturbed by the chatter of cicadas during the hotter months.
The soft furnishings at Villa Yakavos will be upgraded for summer 2012.
