PALIOKATOUNA

Ten minutes drive into the mountains behind the busy resort of Nidri stands Paliokatouna with wonderful views out to sea, to Geni on Vlicho Bay and to the smaller satellite islands off the coast. The village taverna is called Dimitris and is open year round.

Bill's Bar, located in the old olive press sells speciality beers from Greek micro breweries as well as the normal Greek lagers and wines. There is a seasonal restaurant on the outskirts of the village but, for a large selection of shops, tavernas, bars and everything else a sizeable resort offers, one has to visit Nidri.
