GENI
There could not be a greater contrast between the bustling resort of Nidri at the beginning of one side of Vlicho Bay and Geni, a 10 minute drive across to the other side. This tiny village is strung along the water's edge of the bay and is made up of a few houses and several waterfront tavernas which serve traditional Greek food. The Melody bar adds a touch of cafe culture and the rather more upmarket Seaside restaurant, candlelit in the evenings, has lovely views across the bay to the village of Vlicho. Hillsides covered with olive and pine trees rise up behind the village and the nearest beach is a five minute drive.
