TRAPEZAKI
Trapezaki is an area rather than a village and is situated on the lower slopes of Mount Einos towards the South West coast of the island. From here there are superb views across to the nearby island of Zakinthos and the South coast of Kefalonia, with the spectacular backdrop of Mount Einos towering behind.
Through only a 20 minute drive from Argostoli, this is a rural and quiet area and the sandy beach at Trapezaki forms a part of Lourdas Bay. A 45 minute walk along the water's edge brings you to Lourdas. There are tavernas and mini markets in the area and Lourdas village, with its six tavernas, is a 10 minute drive away.
