Travelling south from the port of Vathy one soon discovers a beautiful, undulating landscape with only a very few houses and dramatic views to the sea. This southern part of Ithaca produces most of the island's wine and hillsides show off an attractive patchwork of vineyards, olive groves and pine forest.

A ten minute drive from Vathy leads to a small country lane, which ends up at the mountain top village of Perachori. Villa Helena is set back from this country lane.

This modern villa, set in terraced gardens, has a private, countrified location and has unobstructed views over a valley of vineyards and olive groves and across the sea to the Greek mainland.
