EXOGHI

This village is in a stunning location, perched at the very top of a hill overlooking Afales Bay. From here there are spectacular panoramic views over the deep blue waters of the bay and Ithaca's Northern valleys of olive groves. Part of the village has fallen into disrepair. From here, a track leads to the uninhabited, mountain top monastery of Panagia and surrounding the village there are many walking trails to hidden hamlets. The village of Stavros, 2km away, has four tavernas, a butcher, baker, mini Market and grocer.
